Owners of Surrey Dance Centre. Teaching children ages 3 all the way up to adults. Merging businesses
in 1999, before that we were That's Jazz and Rori's Dance Academy. Many students have gone onto professional careers in the entertainment
industry: Video, T.V., Cruise Ships, Stage and Teaching. Our staff of professional teachers instruct many dance programs.

Aldeana Bawtinheimer is a well respected acrobat teacher with 30 years of experience. She is highly sought in the lower mainland and we are enormously pleased to have her join our faculty. Aldeana's creative and entertaining routines are just one of the reasons she is so well respected in the dance industry. Surrey Dance Centre Inc. is delighted to have Aldeana on staff. |
| Angie Bell |
Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Stage |
Angie has been dancing for many years training in all styles of dance. She had the opportunity to be a member of
Danzmode Productions and the Source Dance Company. Her dancing has taken her all over North America and more recently touring throughout
China. Angie has performed in live shows for companies and events such as Coca-Cola, Adidas, B.C. Country Music Awards and World Weightlifting
Championships. In her latest film work she can be seen dancing in Scooby Doo 2. Angie also was part of the NBA's Vancouver Grizzlies Extreme
Dance Team. In the live shows at the Pacific National Exhibition, she's been a part of the production team as an assistant choreographer / stage
manager and dancer. With her work Angie brings a unique intensity and charismatic presentation. Angie takes great pride in sharing her talents
and love of dance with her students. SDC and CCD are proud to have such a talented artist on staff.

| Patricia Dahlquist |
Mucical Theatre |
Patricia has excelled as an actress, singer and entertainer, appearing in major productions from coast to
coast. A few highlights of her extensive career include recording three children's albums: one for Sesame Street entitled
Oscar the Grouch and Big Bird Go Camping in Canada; A Fly in My Soup, produced here in Vancouver; and the latest
Basket of Joy. She won a JUNO Award in 1976 as the Most Promising Female Vocalist in Canada for her album,
This is Patricia Dahlquist. In addition she has worked in radio, made several appearances as guest star and hostess
performances on CBC and CTV Television, and has been active in film and theatre in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. We are
extremely fortunate to have Patricia as our Musical Theatre teacher.

Ballet, Jazz and Modern |
Heather has received the majority of her training in ballet, jazz and tap, in Ontario, which is where
she originates from. She has studied contemporary dance at Simon Fraser University and graduated with a Bachelor
of Fine Arts Degree with a major in Dance and a minor in Kinesiology. She has attained a Certificate in Health and
Fitness from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies from Brock
University. Heather has experience as a dancer and choreographer in both ballet and contemporary throughout the Lower
Mainland, as well as in Ontario. She is pleased to have joined such an outstanding group of teacher and students at Surrey
Dance Centre.

| Kylah Leniuk |
Modern, Jazz,Tap, Ballet, Acrobats and Pre-School |
Kylah has been teaching Contemporary/Modern Dance at our Surrey location, for over eight years. Kylah is a former gymnast and has trained extensively in dance earning her a four
year scholarship to the University of Kansas. Kylah studied under the fabulous teacher, Leni Wylliams. Throughout her four
years, she studied Contemporary/Modern Dance and Classical Ballet. Kylah has also trained in the dance disciplines of Tap
and Jazz and has experienced teaching background. Kylah is a very gifted choreographer and is the recipient of numerous
choreographers' awards. Her work is unique and she has created an individual style that is her own.

Hip Hop, Break |
Yoshi was introduced to dance by the floor and the beat. He started with b-boying in early high school
and dancing took off from there. After a year of b-boying, Yoshi started learning Hip Hop from a dancer from Cyborg G
(Korea). Shortly after, he joined the Infinite Dimension Productions (IDP) performance team in 2002 where he explored a
variety of new dance styles. With IDP he has performed and choreographed in numerous shows such as the annual S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
Gala at GM Place, countless various local shows, and many concerts for overseas singers. Yoshi teaches break-dance and hip-hop
at local high schools, agencies and various studios. He focuses on old school hip-hop basics and fundamentals. His classes
include everything from popping, breaking, locking, house, pop, street jazz, and the common commercial hip-hop. Yoshi's
choreography specializes in a unique and abstract blend of hip-hop and break-dancing, which stands out in all competitions
and is always a crowd pleaser. He was also the choreographer and dancer for the 2005 Senior Canadian National Dance
Competition Champions, and the choreographer for the 2005 Junior Canadian National Dance Competition Champions. Yoshi is also
a dancer in the group that won the Canadian Hip-hop Championships 2007, and represented Canada at the World Hip-hop Championships
in July of 2007 in L.A.
"I hope to get across to all of my students, the enjoyment of hip-hop culture and all other styles and aspects of dance."

| Nikki Prime-French |

Nikki's love and enthusiasm for dance started at a young age, studying with schools such as Robb Card Dance Center, The Goh
Ballet School, The Banff School of Arts and The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. Nikki trained in all styles of dance and competed
successfully in Canada and USA.
After graduating school with honours, Nikki received a scholarship to the Edge Performing Arts Center, in Las Angeles California,
where she went on to train with world class teachers and choreographers. She worked for such companies as Sega Georgio of Beverly
Hills, Adidas, The Gap, Holland America Cruise Lines, the MGM Grand and The Salsa Ballet Company.
Since returning to Vancouver, Nikki has danced and choreographed for MAC Cosmetics, toured Canada twice with Warner Canada,
performed at the X-Box release party in Toronto and continues to choreography and perform in numerous local music videos,
productions and fashion shows.
Nikki's strong commitment to her teaching is shown through her passion and unique style. She continues to drive and provide a
positive learning environment for all students. |
